strong commitment to accommodate individual traveller choices.
As a result, and in our efforts to best serve you, we collect
and maintain certain personal information about you such as your
name, address and telephone number. At the same time, we
recognize and respect your privacy and strive to protect the
trust you have placed in Cantrav Leisure Services. We fully
support and are committed to complying with the Personal
Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, the new
Canadian legislation enacted to protect the privacy of the
individual. We have developed this Privacy Protection Policy of
which the objective is to specify the guidelines for governing
the collection and use of personal information by Cantrav
Leisure Services.
At Cantrav Leisure Services we
take seriously the responsibility we have for protecting all
personal information we hold or have under our control,
including your personal information, that with your permission,
we pass on to other suppliers to make your reservation. To
prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure
the appropriate use of information, we have put in place
appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to
safeguard and secure the information we collect.
It is the responsibility of
our Privacy Protection Officer to ensure our constant compliance
with legislation and this policy. Also, it is the responsibility
of the Privacy Protection Officer to make sure that the personal
information entrusted with us is secure and will not be used for
purposes other than what is necessary to offer the service our
clients deserve.

writing or in person with a customer service representative of
Cantrav Leisure Services or using our website, you consent to

Cantrav Leisure Services has various security

information is protected from misuse and from unauthorized

Can I limit the use

If you prefer that Cantrav
Leisure Services does not use or disclose your information for
any or all of these purposes, you may notify us of such at any
time, subject to any legal or contractual restrictions, by
contacting our Privacy Protection Officer as indicated at the
bottom of this document. If you do not notify us, we will
consider you to have consented to our continued use and
disclosure of your information for these purposes. A
notification that we not use or disclose your information for
certain of these purposes may result in Cantrav Leisure Services
not being able to fulfill your travel needs.
How can I access the
personal information
Cantrav Leisure Services
has about me?
We will establish and maintain
a file of personal information about each Cantrav Leisure
Services customer. Your file will be kept by us and will be
accessible to you. Only Cantrav Leisure Services employees,
agencies and advisors who need access to your file in the course
of their duties and for the purposes identified will be given
access to it.
Our Privacy Protection Officer
will receive and respond to your inquiries and complaints
regarding the protection and privacy of your personal
information. You have the right to access your file and to
request rectification of any personal information in it that may
be obsolete, incomplete or incorrect. Your request for access
may be made in writing to the Privacy Protection Officer at our
offices in Vancouver.
We will take steps to validate
the identity of the person making the request to ensure we do
not provide information to anyone not authorized to receive it.
We may use your personal information to do so. We may charge you
a reasonable administration fee for providing access to your
file in accordance with your request. Normally we will respond
to your request within 30 days of receiving it.
